What's with all the corgis?

You may have noticed that I post a lot about corgis - sharing their posts, spotting them around town, plus all of my corgi memorabilia. But why?

There's no great story or reason - I just love them! I think they are the cutest, most adorable animals on the planet. But I don't have one. I know, it's crazy, but there are a lot of good reasons that I don't have one, and I thought that I would share.

1. I have an amazing little old man chihuaha mix named Roland - and he is super needy. He would be devestated if I brought in another dog.

2. I live in a condo - so there are rules. I can only have two pets and I have a cat plus Roland. Can you imagine potty training a puppy in a condo on the ninth floor? I'd spend all of my time in the elevator!

3. They need room to run. I know they have tiny little legs, but corgis are actually herding dogs. They need a job and they need to get their energy out. An 862 square foot condo with another dog and cat is not enough room for all of that.

4. They are expensive! Dogs in general are not cheap - but a purebread dog is expensive from the get-go. Plus, preventative vet care and the inevitable emergency room visit isn't cheap. I always preach smart financial decisions and I definitely have to practice what I preach!

My goal with real estate is to help people while earning enough money to eventually buy a townhouse with a yard so that I can get a corgi. My dreams aren't huge but they are important to me. When I see a corgi on the street, I always know I'm going to have a good day - they are good luck for me! I'm grateful to friends and family who send me corgi photos and tag me in corgi videos. They always brighten my day! What random thing in life brings you joy? I would love to hear about it so I can think of you when I see it.
